       Bill is  a Crazy Computer Programmer as well as a Restauranteur.


       He has developed a program that effectively changes a Computer to a Cash Register
       with features including

·         A Reception Centre program that is able to cater with 3 different drink menus so as to provide clubs which meet each week with discounted drink prices.

·         Alfred’s Homestead program with Table Tracking,Stock Control And easy account printing. 

How It all Works :

All of the Cash Register Programs have a similar operating Structure.
Setting up the Categories Menu is the Most Important 1st Step.
Categories Menu contains a list of Items that summarizes  the Stock or Service used by a Business. 

The Categories for the Produce Delivery Program is very simple since There are only 6 Items delivered. 

The items are under Category Named Specials 1 .

Note the Stock Screen Specials 1. 

Note that there are no codes for stock items – if you require 10 bags of Potting Mix You simply type 10 followed by the letter f on the left of the Stock Item.

Don’t Buy a Cash Register- Buy a Program that turns

a Computer into a Cash Register.

 

Cash Registers rarely last more than a couple of years and are a headache to replace

Or  upgrade. Original cost of a good Cash Register could be $2000 ; its resale value after

2 yearsis most probably only $200 if it still works. The more complicated the keypad

the greater the headache and cost of purchasing a replacement cash register.

A program which makes a computer a cash register will never die – if a computer dies the

Program is simply transferred to another computer.

My Cash Register Program is designed to work with a 386 $50 computer if a Business

Does not have more than 1000 stock or service items and if  it does not have more than

300 debtors.

My Alfreds Homestead Program is working on a 486 probably worth $180 .

The program at Karinya is working on a 386 16mhz computer probably worth $20.

A computer is very reliable and consequently a maintenance fee is not required.

To use my Cash Register Program you need a

-          Computer – a 486 is normally more than adequate unless you have more than 2000

Stock or Service items and/or a large Debtor Base. Cost : approx $180

-          Cash Drawer with Computer Interface. – Cost : $100 with your cash drawer.

-          Dot Matrix Printer Cost approx. $50

From 5 years of experience the only items of hardware that may need replacement

are the Keyboard and the Computer Monitor.

You may need a new Keyboard every 6 months – they are only about $20 so

It is wise to keep a spare in the cupboard.

The Monitor is only about $150 and normally lasts 3 years without problems.

I leave my 486 computer on 24 hours a day and I envisage at least 5 more years

Without a problem and of course when it needs to be replaced I could probably

Pick up a 486 for $5 .

The Hard Drive that stores the program should last a good 5 years and

If it needs to be replaced the Cost would be approx $20.

Obviously a Maintenance Contract is not needed and since The Program is

Upgraded   free of charge the only extra cost incurred is for changes in the program that

Are peculiar to a particular client.
